Electronic CHESS statements are a new initiative from the ASX, allowing CHESS statements to be available via an online ASX portal instead of receiving hard copies via post. Openmarkets clients are now able to opt into these electronic CHESS statements.
Clients can provide one email address per HIN to opt into this service. Once opted in, clients receive an initial email from the ASX asking them to create an account where all CHESS statements will be stored and can be accessed. Additionally, clients can choose to opt in to receive share registry notifications via email too.

Clients can also choose to revert back to posted communications. To do this a request will need to be sent to service@openmarkets.com.au with the client account ID and email address that were used to opt in.
